I drove to New Jersey yesterday to work with my good friend Andrea Lekberg (of The Artist Baker) on a new textile project. It rained hard all day- making highway travel even more challenging. Coming back, the play of the lights inspired me to shoot my camera by resting it at different angles on the dash. I couldn't see what I was doing- I'm not so crazy that I would take my eyes off the road- but when a slow down occurred in front of me. I aimed and pushed the shutter. Sometimes my favorite results are the ones over which I have the least control.
