The other day my husband mentioned a recent innovation that's arrived in the neighborhood- a robotic mower by the manufacturer Husqvarna. I was fascinated to hear of such a remarkable invention- a device that cuts the grass all by itself! Think of the lack of grumbling when the kids fail to help their dad, think of the hours freed up and returned to my husband, (who is the chief lawn officer and groundskeeper and I, the gardening crew, for our precious abode.)
This morning, driving the kids to school, I saw this latest marvel in action down the street, silently preforming its duties. So I have documented its unassuming profile as it goes about its business, leaving everything (except the grass) and everyone alone.
Love it! Due to the cost it looks like I'll be cutting the grass the old fashioned way. I had no idea this even existed, thanks for sharing! ;)
ReplyDeleteYes- the price is pretty steep- but who knows- in the years to come- it might become a lot more affordable.
DeleteThanks for your kind words- I really appreciate it!!!!
Dorothy,
ReplyDeleteAre you familiar with the Roomba, the vacuum cleaner/robot? My parents have one, whom they call "she" and have named "Gracie," and it's the darndest thing. We will all sit around watching it make its way through the house, fascinated by how it "decides" which way to go ....

Hi Cheryl,
DeleteI have seen a Roomba in action- love how it goes under furniture. Awesome!! The think about the robotic lawn mower is you have to program it to know where the property lines are so it stays within its "zone". The neighbor who owns it works in technology-what a surprise!!!
Thanks for taking the time to write!!
