A Treat from the Kitchen (and more)



I don't know what has prevented me from cooking this delicious dish but it took my friend Max coming to visit to whip up a batch from the unripened, end of season tomatoes from our garden.


 We have been blessed with a lovely fall and the kale and beets are mostly hardy. Many of the trees are still aglow with their autumnal glory.


(And Max's fried green tomatoes were delectable. Something I will have to learn how to make for sure.)
