The Ebony Hillbillies
I'm doing some community service by taking photos of special events a few times a month at our library, Warner Library in Tarrytown. James and I attended a fun concert there recently by the Ebony Hillbillies. They have some very talented players and I was happy that I volunteered to take pictures. Their music was toe tapping good and the lead singer was great at engaging the audience. They got everyone smiling. Nothing like live entertainment.
So a big thank you to Berkeley Rice and the volunteers who pull off Warner Library's twice yearly bookstall. The proceeds from the sales pay for the library's special events which bring free cultural opportunities to our community. It's a wonderful thing.
