James and I managed to get out yesterday and headed to a friend's opening in Ridgewood, New Jersey. What a beautiful town. Our friend, Nick Sunday's show was about light and how it is really a blend of the colors of the spectrum. Some paintings were on paper folded- kind of like a rectangular fan. We went outside with one of his constructions. This image captures the light thrown off a gold mirror angled in a basin filled with water combined with one of his paper constructions. Such beautiful colors danced in front of us. Amazing. I am really glad we got there. Nick is a special guy.
