A Busy Day

My day started early at Tappan Hill where I photographed the annual breakfast for the Westchester Library System. This year's speaker was Frank Bruni who gave an inspiring talk on the college admissions process (his new book addresses this topic). As a parent actively engaged in academia on behalf of our kids, this is a subject very close to my heart.

Midday I rode the train in to the city where I met a friend for lunch and it was great to bring each other up to date. Walking uptown, an installation and a store window begged to be photographed. Sometimes there's nothing like the unexpected of the city.
