Lots of time when I am working outside, I won't let Comet join me. It's a little sad for him but he runs off without a moment's hesitation when he whiffs another dog or a squirrel which must be chased. With no invisible fence bordering our yard, I can't really turn my back on him. Still, he makes a good subject (however wistful) and inspires me to explore my own corner of the world.
